What is MyBookBox?


MyBookBox is a monthly subscription book service of specially selected books. Think of it as a book of the month club!

What is included in MyBookBox?


Everything you need and nothing you don't!  In each MyBookBox, 2 books are included (one from each of your selected genres).  Most often the children's books will be hardcover and adult books will be paperback. They are always new releases in the U.S. within the past 45 days.  Do not expect to receive the latest New York Times Bestseller, but do expect an amazing read from a talented author.  Each box will also include something special, just for you, and when available, exclusive content for the included book!

How are the books selected?


Each month we work directly with the publishers to preview and read upcoming releases and decide on the perfect one for our subscribers.  With the exception of Women's Fiction, our goal is that all of our books will appeal to boys and girls or men and women.  We promise that our selections for young readers will be age appropriate.  Looking forward to a new release, want to see more of a certain style or interested in a different genre? How do I join MyBookBox?


Just choose two of our 6 genres offered: Women's Fiction, Mystery, Non-Fiction, Young Adult, Children 8-12 and Children 3-7.  Then enter your billing information and shipping address and you're ready to go!

MyBookBox offers month to month, 3-month and 6-month renewals starting at just $39.95/month.

What are the shipping fees?


Shipping is on us within the United States! We ship via USPS Media Mail which takes 3-7 days (12-16 days for Alaska, Hawaii and US territories). We also ship to Canada for $19, Mexico for $26, and the rest of the world, including Australia and UK, for $28. International shipping usually takes 10-14 days. (see more about international shipping below)

Do you ship internationally?


Yes!  Shipping fees vary depending on the country; Canada for $19, Mexico for $26, and the rest of the world, including Australia and UK, for $28. International shipping usually takes 8-14 days for countries with well-developed postal systems, but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a delivery time.

Because we know that every country is different and we cannot verify international addresses, it is the subscriber's responsibility to provide an accurate mailing address. If you live in a country where you do not regularly receive mail, we highly recommend using a post office box or a service like ShopAndShip.com. International shipments are shipped via United States Postal Service and they hand it off to your country's postal service for delivery.

When will I receive MyBookBox?


Our shipments go out by the 20th of every month and ship via USPS from Dallas, TX, so you can expect to receive your box 3-7 days after, depending on your location.  Once your box ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with a tracking number to confirm shipping and delivery. Orders outside the US48 will take longer.

When will I be billed?


For our standard, monthly MyBookBox, your first box will be paid for when you initially subscribe.  You will then be re-billed on the 28th of each month with the credit card provided, for your convenience.

What if I already have the book you sent?


You can return the entire box back to us within 3 days of receiving it for credit toward a future box or return a single book to exchange it for one currently in our shop. Subscribers are limited to 2 exchanges every 12 months.  If it is after 3 days, please contact us to make arrangements, or we recommend passing along the book to a friend who might enjoy it!  Please email us with any questions.

How do I cancel my subscription or skip a delivery?  How do I reactivate my account?


You can log in to your account and edit your subscription to skip or cancel at anytime.  If you're ready to come back, simply log in and click the "Reactivate" button.  Please note: If you skip or cancel from your account, it does not cancel any open orders or paid shipments you may have; it will only cancel the auto-renew.

If you'd like to change your selected book genres, changes made from your account will take effect with your next renewal. To make changes for your upcoming shipment, please email us.

Can I send MyBookBox as a gift?


Absolutely!  MyBookBox makes a great gift for your college student, grandkids, nieces, nephews, siblings, parents, etc.  You can gift a subscription to anyone... you'll just need their name, phone number and mailing address.  Their first box will even include a gift message from you.  Just like our standard subscription, you will be re-billed each month and can cancel at anytime by logging in to your account.
